L.A.W.S. - Law Admissions Workshop Series
Admissions deans from the country's top law schools, including our
own Randi Garnick L'90, Director of Admissions here at Penn Law, will
be participating in this new series focused on providing prospective
applicants with information about legal education, the legal
profession, and preparing for the process of applying to law
school. Workshops will be held in DC, NYC, Chicago, and LA from

Wendy Beetlestone L'93: Beetlestone, currently a shareholder at
Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, where she is Chair of
the firm's Education Law Group, was recently nominated by President
Obama to serve as a U.S. District Court judge in the Eastern District

bench! Chutkan, currently a partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner, was unanimously confirmed as a federal judge by the U.S.
Senate on June 4, 2014. She will serve on the U.S. District

Joanna Visser Adjoian L'10: Visser
Adjoian, currently the Associate
Director and Staff Attorney for Penn Law's Toll Public Interest
Center, will be moving onto exciting new challenges outside of the
law school. She was recently awarded a fellowship from Echoing
Green's Black Male Achievement Program (in partnership with the Open
Society Institute) to launch the Youth Sentencing & Reentry
Project in Philadelphia, a new non-profit that she co-founded. Read more about her new role and nonprofit here.
