Nancy Bregstein Gordon L'76: Bregstein Gordon, currently teaching at Penn Law, was recently elected President of the Board of CeaseFirePA, a group she co-founded that aims to reduce gun violence in communities through a statewide coalition of mayors, police chiefs, faith leaders, community organizations, and individual Pennsylvanians.
 
Tanya Chutkan L'87: President Obama nominated Chutkan for a seat on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and her nomination is pending before the Senate.  She is expected to be confirmed by the full Senate. Read more here:

Hope D'Oyley-Gay L'94: D'Oyley-Gay, currently assistant GC at GlaxoSmithKline, has been named to the board of Philadelphia VIP, a public-interest legal organization providing representation to clients of limited means on various civil matters, including landlord/tenant issues, mortgages, and immigration.

Meera Joshi L'95
: Joshi, who formerly served as the Taxi and Limousine Commission's General Counsel, has recently been nominated by Mayor Bill de Blasio to return as Chairwoman of the Taxi & Limousine Commission.  Her nomination must be approved by the New York City Council.
