And from what Prof. Michael Knoll observed as coordinator of the program at Penn Law, the participants are well on their way to achieving that goal. Said Knoll: "They're very impressive. They're smart, they're articulate, they're engaged."

Penn Law hosted 15 professional women from Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Qatar, Tunisia, and the West Bank. Among them were academics, government workers, and lawyers. They spent four weeks on Penn's campus before departing for five-month internships with large companies and top-tier law firms.
