Teresa Gillen Lí85 has been named policy director of Gov. Edward G. Rendellís Cí65 Department of Community and Economic Development. Gillen was formerly Chief Operating Officer of the National Community Capital Association.
David Hoffman Lí85 has been named an honorary chairman to the Business Advisory Council to Congress. He recently formed his own intellectual property law firm, Law Offices of David. L. Hoffman, in the Los Angeles area.
Kenneth Trujillo Lí86 has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Intergovermental Cooperation Authority by Gov. Edward G. Rendell Cí65. Trujillo is a founding member of the Philadelphia law firm Trujillo Rodriguez & Richards, where he represents companies and public entities in complex litigation.
Martyn Babitz Wí84, Lí87 has written and published The Illusion of Freedom: How to Restore the True Constitution and Reclaim Liberty (Triple Eagle Press). Babitz has published in national and regional legal periodicals, including Estate Planning, Journal of Practical Estate Planning, New Jersey Law Journal, and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council Newsletter.
Tobey M. Daluz Lí87 has joined Delaware-based Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll as a member of the Litigation Department and a member of the Workouts and Failed Transactions Group. She also serves as Managing Partner. Daluz is the founding Director of the International Womenís Insolvency and Restructuring Federation.
Mark A. Sereni Lí87 has been unanimously reelected as President of the Delaware County Trial Lawyers Association. Sereni is a partner in the Media, Pa. law firm DiOrio & Sereni, where he concentrates his practice in the field of civil litigation.
James W. McKenzie WGí86 Lí87 rejoins the Business Transactions Practice at the Philadelphia law firm Morgan Lewis and Brockius. McKenzie focuses his practice on IPOs, securities and corporate law matters.
Frank Tobolsky Lí87 delivered a course entitled ďThe Essentials of Office and Leases in PennsylvaniaĒ at a seminar presented by the National Business Institute. He owns the law firm of Frank N. Tobolsky, P.C. in Philadelphia.
Tom OíNeill Lí90 has coauthored with Simon Charbit LLMí00 two articles on conflicts between French law and practice and the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, which appeared in the publications Option Finance and International Business Lawyer. He is a partner in the Paris office of Linklaters.
Antonio Ponvert III Lí90 has been named a partner at Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder in Connecticut. Ponvert focuses his practice on complex individual and class action litigation, constitutional law, civil rights, public benefits, criminal trials and appeals. He is also a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, and a Cooperating Attorney of the Connecticut Civil Liberties Union.
