Financial Aid

Attending law school in the United States is a significant financial investment. At The University of Pennsylvania Law School, we use every dollar of tuition revenue to support our academic programs. Nonetheless, we are proud to be able to assist a small number of LLM students with financial aid in the form of scholarships. More information regarding our scholarships can be found on our admissions website.

Non-Penn Resources

Because our ability to award assistance is very limited, we encourage you to seek other funding sources to support your education. Many of our students receive scholarships from their employers, their governments, or another third party. Other students are able to pay their expenses with their own savings or rely on family members for loans. Still, others obtain loans or other financial aid from their home country. We encourage you to explore all options for financing.

Information about financing your graduate legal education, including loans and scholarships, can be found at Other Funding Sources.

Scholarships are awarded beginning in March and continuing into May. We appreciate your patience.
