Sarah FinnertyML’18Assistant Privacy Officer, Office of Audit, Compliance, and Privacy, University of Pennsylvania
Sarah Finnerty Prior to Penn, Sarah was an Intelligence Officer for the U.S. Air Force where she instructed fellow Officers and Airmen about foreign threats and weapon systems. In her current work, Sarah’s goal is to continue exploring her interests in Privacy and Technology through a career in Higher Education where innovation is at the forefront.
Eve HigginbothamVice Dean for Inclusion and Diversity, Perelman School of Medicine
Eve Higginbotham, MD is the Vice Dean for Inclusion and Diversity at the PSOM, Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics, and a professor of Ophthalmology and a glaucoma specialist. She also serves as the National President of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. With over three decades of academic experience, Eve spent nearly 20 years managing the financial health of organizations, where she found the increasing importance of understanding the legal framework.
Ron LitmanML’18Pediatric Anesthesiologist, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics, Perelman School of Medicine
Ron Litman, DO Dr. Litman hopes to use his newfound knowledge in the area of healthcare law to influence national and local regulations that improve the safety of hospitalized children. In addition to his hospital and faculty appointment, Dr. Litman is also the Vice-Chair for his institution’s Conflict of Interest Committee, the Medical Director of the Institute for Safe Medication Practices, and a member of the FDA’s Anesthesia and Analgesia Drug Products Advisory Committee.
Will Matson is a MBA and ML degree candidate with intentions of building businesses that are measured not only for the profits, but also for their positive societal impact. Prior to being accepted at Wharton, Will worked as a Senior Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions Group at JP Morgan, London and was their highest ranked associate in the European, Middle Eastern and African regions.
Kiran MusunuruML’19Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Genetics, Perelman School of Medicine
Kiran Musunuru, MD, PhD, MPH, FAHA received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, his PhD from The Rockefeller University, and his Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Musunuru’s research focuses on the genetics of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases and seeks to identify naturally occurring genetic variants that can be used to develop therapies to protect the entire population. In 2016, he received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers from the White House, as well as the American Heart Association’s Award for Meritorious Achievement. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of the journal Circulation: Genomic and Precision Medicine.

Lori Robertson, an accomplished journalist, has served for the last ten years as the Managing Editor of FactCheck.org, a nonpartisan website that fact-checks political claims and increases public understanding of political messages. Her work touches a wide range of legal topics, including health care, immigration, gun control, taxes, federal regulation and the Constitution. Before joining FactCheck.org, Lori was a journalist for American Journalism Review, where she won the Bart Richards Award for Media Criticism and an honorable mention in the National Press Club’s Arthur Rowse Award.

Rebecca Struwe has had an interesting and varied career starting with nine years as a Foreign Service Officer during which she served as a Pickering Fellow, among other roles. Becky attended George Mason University and later earned her Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. After her Foreign Service career and before joining Penn, Becky was a Compliance Associate at Gerson Lehrman, and worked as an international scholar advisor at the University of Austin, Texas.

Andrew Thum, MSN, BSN, RN-BC, CCCTM, ML is Nurse Manager of the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and an adjunct clinical instructor for Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing. He is also a member of the La Salle University School of Nursing Advisory Board and serves on the Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders (PONL) Board of Directors as the Emerging Nurse Leader Southeastern PA representative.
