CHiPs - Women in Technology
ChIPs is a nonprofit organization that advances and connects women in technology, law and policy. We seek to accelerate innovation through diversity of thought, participation and engagement. In this vein, we have opened up our annual Rachel Krevans Scholarship. The award will be given annually to an academically qualified female law student entering her third or subsequent year who has demonstrated an interest in IP law and a commitment to ChIPs’ mission of advancing and connecting women in technology, law and policy. The award will be paid to the student’s school to be used on tuition.
Burlington County Bar Foundation
The Burlington County Bar Foundation is extremely proud to present the 2020 Jan M. Schlesinger Scholarship Award, in memory of a distinguished and honorable jurist of Burlington County, the Honorable Jan M. Schlesinger. This $2,500.00 scholarship is presented annually to a law student who is in good standing and who has resided in, or has been employed in, Burlington County within the last 10 years. Preference is given to those demonstrating financial need.

Ocean County Bar Association
The Ocean County Bar association is accepting application for the Memorial Scholarship given annually to one or more Ocean County residents. Students who will be enrolled in an accredited law school for the academic year 2019-2020 can apply.

Berks County Bar Association
In 1978 the Howard Fox Memorial Law Scholarship Fund was established by Helen and Richard Fox and Friends to honor the memory of their son who, as a proud member of the Berks County Bar Association, served as a young attorney in the Public Defender’s Office. In 2000, the Howard Fox Memorial Law Scholarship Fund was transferred to the Berks County Community Foundation to manage and administer.
The scholarship supports graduates of Berks County, Pennsylvania, high schools who will be entering an accredited law school or who are currently attending an accredited law school to pursue a law degree. Preference will be given to students entering their second year of law school; however, all applicants meeting the criteria are encouraged to apply. Previous recipients of a scholarship from this fund may reapply in a future year - as long as they will still be in law school and will be considered along with the other applicants; but previous recipients will not receive preferential treatment.

Allegheny County Bar Foundation
The F.C. Grote Fund was established through a bequest of F.C. Grote, the Grote Fund provides scholarships to enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. The fund annually awards three $5,000 scholarships.
Hudson County Bar Foundation
The Hudson County Bar Foundation Scholarship Fund is one of the oldest providers of financial assistance to Hudson County law students. Esteemed members and families of the Hudson County legal community have funded these 50 scholarships.
Students must be bona fide residents of Hudson County; must demonstrate financial need; must provide two (2) current Letters of Recommendation and must account for appropriate academic standards.
The Richard L. Barbour, Jr. Scholarship Fund
The Richard L. Barbour Scholarship Fund is a non-profit corporation created for the purpose of awarding scholarships and is administered by the Board of Trustees. It anticipates a 2020 scholarship of $5,000.00. To be eligible, an applicant must be a New Jersey resident accepted for admission to a law school and seeking a career in law enforcement or prosecution. Winners must agree to attend our PROCOPS (Prosecutor’s Recognition of Citizens or Public Servants) banquet on May 6, 2020 to receive the scholarship.
The American Association for Justice
The Mike Eidson Scholarship Fund was established by the AAJ Women for Justice Education Fund in 2008, in honor of AAJ past President Mike Eidson, whose vision and generosity inspired it. The scholarship, traditionally in the amount of $5,000, is awarded annually to a rising 3L (or rising 4L in a night program) female student who has demonstrated a commitment to a career as a plaintiff lawyer or criminal defense lawyer and a dedication to upholding and defending the principles of the Constitution, and to the concept of a fair trial, the adversary system, and a just result for the injured, the accused, and those whose rights are jeopardized.
Cape May County Bar Foundation
The Honorable Nathan C. Staller Law Scholarship Award was established to honor the late Nathan C. Staller, member of the Cape May County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Judge Staller Distinguished himself not only as a trial attorney in the Southern New Jersey area but also as a Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court in Cape May County, where he severed for twelve years. Since its inception in 1988, over $50,000.00 in Scholarship monies have been awarded to outstanding law school students from the Southern New Jersey area.
The scholarship is awarded to qualified law school students who hail for the three Southern New Jersey Counties, Cape May, Atlantic, and Cumberland. It is award on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.
Leopold Schepp Foundation
The Leopold Schepp Foundation awards educational scholarships to full time undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate a combination of fine character, academic excellence, financial need, compassion, a commitment to volunteerism and whose goal will benefit mankind.
