Penn Law is working to minimize waste and increase recycling and composting.

With Penn’s new recycling campaign about to begin, Penn Law is working to increase its recycling rates and decrease its waste stream. Promotional campaigns will inspire individuals to “reduce, re-use, recycle” across campus. The Climate Action Plan calls on the University to reduce its overall waste stream and increase its diversion rate of paper, cardboard, and commingled recyclables. With Penn Law’s help, the University can be closer to reaching its goal of a 40% recycling rate by 2014.

Certain offices are currently involved in a deskside recycling pilot program. For more information or to join the program, email
