Event Planning & Reserving a Room
To assist in streamlining the process of calendaring and reserving rooms for the wonderful range of events at Penn Law, we request that all departments, groups, or individuals requesting space in the building use our Room Request/Event Planning System. This tool will allow you to provide information about your event to the various departments that will support you in its success: Calendaring and Room Reservations, Facilities, ITS, etc. After your submission of the Event Planning Form, we will confirm your requested booking or provide you with alternatives within four business days.
Law School Description
Penn Law’s campus physically embodies its collaborative institutional culture. Uniquely among law schools, faculty and staff offices, classrooms and seminar rooms, and student spaces are interspersed throughout the physical plant, rather than segregated in separate areas. The integrated layout creates an atmosphere that allows for easy interaction and engagement among faculty, students and staff.
Four interconnected buildings surround a tree-lined central courtyard. Over the past decade, each building has either been renovated (Silverman Hall, Gittis Hall, and Tanenbaum Hall) or newly built (Golkin Hall, which opened in 2012). The Law School’s state-of-the-art facilities include a large auditorium, high tech classrooms and seminar rooms, a modern moot court room, numerous common areas for student learning and interaction, as well as indoor and outdoor spaces for quiet reflection.
