With an ever-changing regulatory environment, and a backdrop of similar fast-moving advancements in technology, the need for companies to adapt to new regulations and new challenges can turn compliance into a strategic advantage; proactive and robust compliance practices can enhance a company’s reputation, foster trust (internally and externally), and create a competitive compliance edge.

Compliance can play an important role in avoiding costly pitfalls, driving culture, enhancing business performance and creating a competitive advantage for companies – if you get it right. It starts with the right culture and corporate governance and is reinforced with the proper “tone at the top” and “compliance at the core.” Now is the time to learn how to leverage compliance to create an opportunity to help support strategic goals, help grow business, instill trust and create an environment for long-term success.

Program Overview

The Critical Issues in Compliance: Transforming Challenges into a Competitive Advantage Executive Education Program will bring together professionals, experts, and thought leaders from the fields of compliance, legal, and business to discuss and explore the evolving landscape of compliance in the modern business world. Timely topics that will be covered include: Technology and Compliance (i.e., how to deal with cybersecurity, ransomware, social media, alternative data etc.), The Tangled Web of Privacy Regulation and Data Protection, How to Conduct Business in a Corrupt World, Conflicts of Interest and other timely and important issues.

Compliance should no longer be viewed as merely a legal requirement, an “insurance policy,” a “checklist,” or worse, a hindrance, roadblock or an administrative burden.
