The Keedy Cup is Penn Law’s internal moot court competition—an event that draws the entire Law School to see two teams of students argue before three federal judges.
The 2013 Keedy Cup will take place on January 24th at 4:30 PM in the Michael A. Fitts Auditorium, Golkin 100. This year’s finalists, Jennifer Berman, Nicholas Giles, Samuel Harrison, and David Robbins, will argue the pending Supreme Court case Tibbals v. Carter—a case about criminal justice, the role of the federal courts, and the Great Writ of Habeas Corpus.
All students, faculty, alumni, and staff are welcome to attend.
Free tickets will be available the week of January 14th in the Student Affairs Office from 10 AM – 4 PM. One ticket per person. First come, first served. Once tickets run out, other seating will be available in another room with live simulcast of the event and with commentary and refreshments. The pick-up schedule for tickets is below:
