Raj Sharma

Raj Sharma joins the Center for Asian Law as an Overseer

Raj Sharma is a social entrepreneur and recognized thought leader focused on strengthening management capacity and governance systems of the social and public sectors. Raj is CEO of Censeo Consulting Group, a nationally recognized firm for its social impact and award-winning culture. He is also the founder of the Public Spend Forum, a social venture focused on creating an open and innovation-driven public sector market.

Raj’s main areas of research focus on two primary topics: (1) using proven management practices as a way to strengthen overall governance in public and social institutions as a way to enable social and public policy goals and (2) using market mechanisms to create an open market for over $8 trillion in global spending by governments.

Raj has been widely published, including his recent chapter in the book Governing to Win: Enhancing National Competitiveness Through New Policy and Operating Approaches.

Raj has served as a Visiting Fellow at the Center for American Progress.
