Casey Danoff L’23

Casey is from Englewood, NJ, and graduated from the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs in the Class of 2020 as a Political Communications major and Psychology minor. At GW, Casey was a member of an all-female acapella group and both performed and choreographed in student musical theater groups. 

During her time in college, Casey interned in the Office of US Senator Cory Booker (NJ) at Emerge America, an organization that helps recruit and train Democratic women to run for office, and at the Anti-Defamation League. She also served as a Research Assistant for Dr. Ethan Porter on his project about increasing and supporting women’s political ambitions to run for office. She spent her summers working at Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp, where she created and served as director for the Social Justice and Community Service program.

Casey is committed to advocating for the rights and equity of women, particularly in the realms of reproductive and workplace justice. Following her 1L year, Casey interned at the National Clearinghouse for the Defense of Battered Women (NCDBW) and as a research assistant for Professor Serena Mayeri. For her 2L summer, Casey interned at the ACLU Women’s Rights Project, where she worked on projects related to workplace protections for women in a post-Dobbs world. For her 3L year, Casey competed as a finalist in the Keedy Cup Moot Court Competition.
