Joseph Mensah L’15

Joseph Mensah is a Career Development Manager at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati Law Firm. He previously served as the Director of Dean’s Initiatives at Yale Law School (YLS), where he supports Dean Heather Gerken’s strategic, diversity, and fundraising initiatives. Prior to that, Joseph served as the inaugural Assistant Director of Student Affairs for Diversity and Inclusion at YLS. In this role, Joseph spearheaded a number of initiatives and programs, including a diversity speaker series, dinner and dialogue events, and inclusive advocacy workshops. Before joining YLS, Joseph practiced corporate and regulatory law at an international firm in Southern California. At the firm, he sat on the diversity and inclusion committee and pursued education-related pro bono matters. Prior to law school, Joseph was as a third-grade teacher at a Navajo Nation elementary school. He graduated from Brown University with an A.B. in Political Science, holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and earned a Certificate in Business Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
