Francis Arvelo L’10

Frankie Arvelo brings more than a decade of transactional and practical business experience.

He is the Managing Partner of Arvelo PLLC, an Austin, TX-based law firm advising emerging growth companies ranging from deep technology to consumer-packaged goods companies from formation to exit.

Arvelo advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, angel and venture capital financings, commercial agreements, employment issues, joint ventures, securities law, and general corporate structuring.

He is also a General Partner of Rising Tide Ventures, a group focused on making pre-seed and seed stage investments in companies run and owned by founders who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC).

Prior to starting Arvelo PLLC, Frankie worked as an attorney and partner at other Austin area boutique law firms. He also worked as a consultant at Cisco, where he learned how engineers see the world, and as an associate at Goldman Sachs, where he learned how bankers operate.

Arvelo is a proud father and husband and holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania, MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and BS from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
