Paul McKenney

Paul McKenney is the President & CEO of McKenney Financial Group Inc., a wealth management firm headquartered in Portland, Maine. As a Certified Financial Planner and Accredited Investment Fiduciary, he works with a wide range of clients from across the country to achieve their financial goals and make a positive impact in their communities.
Paul is also a retired Army Colonel with over 30 years of military service as an Infantry and Aviation Officer. His career spans roles in the Army’s active and reserve components with service in the United States, Germany, Canada, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia. His leadership experience includes command at the detachment, company, and senior advisory team levels. His teaching experience comprises service at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Canadian Army Command and Staff College, the Afghan National Army Junior Command and Staff College, the Saudi War College, and the U.S. Army War College. Paul is also a graduate of the U.S. Air War College, and in his role as a pilot, Paul flew the AH-64 Apache, OH-58 Kiowa, and UH-1 Huey helicopters, achieving Senior Army Aviator status.
Additionally, Paul is an experienced community leader in Maine, where he served as the President of the Greater Portland Council of Governments, Town Council Chairman for Cape Elizabeth, and as the Chairman of the Southern Maine Economic Development District. Paul served on the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland School Board and as the President of the Pine Tree Council National Eagle Scout Association. Paul and his wife, Betsy, are very proud to have three children and eight grandchildren.
