Catherine Henry

Ms. Henry has spent the majority of her career as a public defender, first as an Assistant State Defender in Philadelphia for five years and then, for approximately the last eight years, as a Defender with the Federal Community Defender Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Henry was Assistant Federal Defender until 2008 when she was appointed the Senior Litigator in the office. In this capacity, she oversees and counsels assistant federal defenders in preparing and handling jury trials in federal court while maintaining an active case load. She has lectured to numerous groups on trial strategy and defenses. She has been a clinical instructor at Temple Law School since 2003. Ms. Henry graduated from Drew University in 1991 and received her J.D. from the District of Columbia School of Law in 1995. She is a member of the Maryland and Pennsylvania bars.
