Pursue a career in international human rights or asylum/immigration law.

Professor Who Influenced Me Most:

Professor Wendell Pritchett - he is a very approachable/caring professor, and I admire his commitment to Philadelphia!

My Favorite Course:

Lawyering in the Public Interest - it forces me to consider how the needs of the poor/disadvantaged are not presently being met by the legal profession.

An Example of How the Law School's Cross-disciplinary Approach Influences My Legal Education:

The Penn Law Immigration Clinic recently began providing legal support (primarily "Know Your Rights" Trainings) at Puentes de Salud, a medical clinic in South Philly started by Penn Medical School. Our collaboration has allowed us to provide a safe space where individuals can seek assistance on both their medical and immigration needs.

Meaningful Cross-disciplinary Experience at Penn:

We addressed both their medical and immigration needs.

My Favorite Philadelphia Moment:

Running the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and eating at one of the many Philly BYOBs!

Raising over $46,000 during the 2007 Equal Justice Foundation Auction to fund public interest summer grants.
