What I Did Before Law School:

I worked as an Attorney in my native Colombia for two years while studying International Relations.

Why I Chose Penn Law:

Penn Law is among the best law schools in the whole country. It provides a great opportunity for professionals, and a great place to network while having fun.

My Best Experience at Penn Law:

The best experience of this year has been the International Afternoon!

Professor Who Influenced Me Most:

Professor Harry Reicher in International Human Rights. His talent, his love for the subject and his passion vividly convey his thoughts on Human Rights issues around the world.

My Favorite Course:

Negotiations because it taught me that everything has the potential to be negotiated – even if you originally thought that it could not. It has also gave me confidence as negotiator.

My Favorite Philadelphia Moment:

I think it has been ice skating near by the city, at night, looking at the lights of a city that has already gone to sleep.

What I'm Most Proud Of:

I am proud of my capacity of learning and having good grades in a language that is not my own.

My Extracurricular Activities at Penn Law:

I joined a Spanish conversation group, and I participated at the International Afternoon representing Colombia and showing that Colombia is a great country full of flowers, coffee and nice people.

My Favorite Place or Activity on the University Campus:

The Law School library and the walkways at campus.
