ABOUT US

Recognizing a need for globally conscious activity at Penn Law, a group  of students founded the  International Human Rights Advocates in 2006, an organization dedicated to pro bono service worldwide.

This group  gives students a chance to travel the world, fulfill their service requirements, and interact with leading legal professionals and academics while addressing some of the world's most severe crises.

IHRA partners with international human rights organizations to provide research for our partners' lawsuits and publications.  IHRA also sponsors a speaker series to bring in human rights advocates from multiple sectors to provide dialogue on the Penn Campus.
