About Us

The mission of Penn Law Advocates for the Homeless is to serve the homeless/low-income population in the vicinity of Penn Law's campus, and to provide a way for Penn Law students to give back to the community in a tangible way.  The Penn Law Advocates for the Homeless will achieve its goals through collaboration with the Homeless Advocacy Project and providing a free civil legal clinic at a nearby soup kitchen every Wednesday night.  Advocates can also work outside of the clinic when cases require additional work.  Michael LiPuma (L'94) serves as the supervising attorney for the project.  For more information, please contact Lauren Apter (Class of 2013, apter.lauren@law.upenn.edu), Reid Cater (Class of 2013, rcater@law.upenn.edu), and Ben Marshal (Class of 2013, bmarshal@law.upenn.edu).
