
Am I Eligible for Food Stamps?If you are unsure whether you qualify to receive food stamps, try the Department of Public Welfare's online screening questionnaire. On that website you can select what benefits you are interested in receiving and receive a rough estimate of your eligibility. Unless you are in a household in which all members are receiving TANF, SSI,or other public assistance, OR at least one household member is elderly (over 60) or disabled, then your gross monthly income must be below the following levels in order to receive food stamp benefits.
