Public Interest Organizations

Adoption Resource Center

Our intern was very helpful, punctual and lovely. I wish her great success. She was always diligent and hard-working as well as interested in the subject matter.

Campaign for Working Families (United Way)

Our intern is was very proficient and patient with the clients he assisted. He has a very pleasant personality and a willingness to learn all that he can about Tax Law. I appreciated his time and warm spirit at 119c for this year's Spring season.

Community Legal Services

Custody and Support Assistance Clinic

Our intern was a tremendous asset to CASAC this year. Her family law knowledge was greater than most due to her summer experience here at PLA, so she was able to be a helpful resource to her fellow students. She put in a large number of hours, was extremely reliable and did a great job with students and clients.

Hurricane Katrina Pro Bono Project

Our intern did wonderful work. He was hard working, dedicated, caring and very intelligent. He had good rapport with the clients and was helpful at spotting issues and solving problems.

New York Legal Assistance Group

My only comment would be to reiterate how much I appreciated her assistance. In addition to several other smaller projects, she researched and drafted a very helpful memo and set of motion papers for a matrimonial action on behalf of an indigent client and victim of domestic violence. At all times, she was professional, while also demonstrating tremendous intuition and understanding in working with our clients.

Governmental Agencies

City of Philadelphia Law Dept Child Welfare Unit.

We were very grateful for the assistance that the intern was able to provide. In addition to doing legal research, she was very helpful in completing several other assignments that the office received as well as many other duties.

City of Philadelphia Law Dept. Labor and Employment Unit Major Tax Unit

Our intern volunteered for over 35 hours with us, and we were quite pleased with his work product and the assistance he gave.

Our student quickly picked up procedures and mastered the relevant law. She conducted herself in a professional manner at all times.
