Foreign and International Resources at Biddle Law LibraryBiddle Law Library offers a wide range of print and electronic materials on foreign, international and comparative law, making up a third of Biddle's total holdings. Biddle extensively collects international treaties, decisions of international courts, and official documents of the European Union, United Nations, the World Trade Organization, and other key institutions. National laws are also collected, with particularly strong holdings for the Commonwealth countries, France and Germany. Most international materials are published in English, and many foreign law materials are available in English translation in addition to the original language. Indexes, digests, and other specialized reference materials on international and foreign law can be found in Biddle's dedicated Foreign and International Law Reference Collection, on the west corridor of the Fourth Floor of Tanenbaum Hall. The reference librarians are also pleased to offer personalized assistance in using Biddle's foreign and international law collection, and in devising strategies for your research projects in these areas. For more information on Biddle's foreign and international collection, please visit the Foreign and International Reference Office in Tanenbaum 412, or email Gabriela Femenia, Foreign and International Law Librarian, at gfemenia@law.upenn.edu. |
