PIPG Wine & Cheese Salon

Please join the Penn IP Group for a social meeting of the minds to discuss a variety of IP issues over cheese and wine. This is a great opportunity to meet the board and fellow PIPGers and share your thoughts and opinions about some relevant and controversial IP issues today.

We provide some interesting prompts, wine, and cheese — you provide the conversation.

 

Penn Intellectual Property Group's Annual Symposium

Fashion Law

On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, the Penn Intellectual Property Group will be holding its annual symposium at Penn Law School. All are welcome to attend, so if you find yourself in the Philadelphia area, please stop by. This year the symposium will be on fashion law, and there will be panels on content licensing on the Internet, open source law, and copyright and authorship issues. The schedule for the symposium is as follows:

Tuesday, March 20nd 
4:30 - 7:30 p.m. followed by a reception 
University of Pennsylvania Law School, Levy Conference Center

The Penn Intellectual Property Group (PIPG), established during the fall of 2001, focuses on enhancing intellectual property interest and activities within Penn Law, Penn, and the Philadelphia community. Among its activities, PIPG hosted nationally prominent lawyers, business people, and professors in panels which include IP Careers, Biotechnology, and Arts and Entertainment panels.

The Penn Intellectual Property Group also maintains the PIPG Blog, where PIPG events at Penn are announced and current issues in intellectual property law are discussed.
