Congratulations to the Fall 2001 class for an excellent semester.
eCommerce will return next year.
Exam Information
The eCommerce exam
consists of two parts, each scored as 35% of your final grade:
a. essay portion
b. multiple choice portion
Essay Portion
The Essay Portion will be released on Wednesday,
Nov. 21st, via the class web site (and, probably, via hard-copy
at the law school). Your completed exam is due in the Registrar's
office by 2:00 PM on Friday, December 7th. No late exams will be
accepted.
Your essay exam will be graded anonymously. Accordingly,
you will use only your exam number to identify yourself.
You may complete the essay portion with up to two
other students, though you are not required to work with anyone.
In the case of groups, only one exam will be turned in, and should
list all exam numbers. You are not allowed to speak with anyone
outside your group about the exam.
The exam format will be a set of essay questions,
both of the issue-spotting/fact pattern type, as well as more open-ended
policy analysis questions.
Each question on the exam will have a strict word
limit. There will be substantial penalties for going over the word
limit. I expect the total quantity of writing to not exceed 3-5
pages.
I will only answer questions about the exam on
the class discussion board or during class.
Multiple Choice Portion
The multiple choice exam will be 90 minutes
long, and given during the regular in-class exam time slot.
You may not give or receive help on the multiple
choice portion of the exam.
You may use any materials you wish (other
than another person); laptop computers will be allowed. No internet
access will be available during the exam.
