JD/MBA
The Wharton School

The aim of the JD/MBA program is to prepare tomorrow’s leaders in professional and analytic skills in law and in business expertise.

Students can earn both degrees in four years. Penn Law gives credit for four relevant courses taken at Wharton toward the JD. MBA students must take at least 15 courses toward that degree, and students in the joint degree program may receive credit for up to four Law courses for their electives.

Students apply separately to each department. Applications to the MBA program are welcomed contemporaneously with the Law School application or during the 1L or 2L year. Both departments require the appropriate standardized testing with application.
