The cross-disciplinary approach to legal study starts with the Penn Law faculty. Their diverse training, research interests, and scholarly work infuse a broad view of the role of law in society into their courses.

• More than 70 percent of the Penn Law faculty hold advanced degrees in complementary fields, with close to 50 percent at the Ph.D. level or equivalent.
