MARKETING YOUR ORGANIZATION TO PENN LAW STUDENTSMany employers inquire how they might better inform Penn Law students about their organization. You can gain name recognition with our students by participating in any of the following programs: Practice Area FairOur Practice Area Fair is a chance for firms to educate our students about a specific practice area within your firm. This is an opportunity for you to distribute marketing materials to students had have individual attorneys in that practice area answer student questions. Speed NetworkingThe Speed Networking program matches individual attorneys with students for brief meetings in a speed round format. Each student has the opportunity to ask questions about the attorney’s practice and the practitioner can discuss his or her individual work, life at the firm, or his or her law school experience. Mock Interview ProgramSend your attorneys to perform mock interviews, one on one, with members of the 1L Class, just as they are beginning to think ahead to the Fall Recruiting Season. Following the interviews, your attorneys can participate in a reception hosting the entire 1L Class. Display your marketing materials and introduce your organization to Penn Law students. Alumni NetworkEach spring, Penn Law invites its graduates to support current students and prospective students via our Alumni Network. Be sure your Penn Law graduates participate by completing and returning the form to us - and that they indicate their interest in Career Planning activities at the Law School. Receptions and Educational Programs for StudentsWe welcome your interest in hosting our students at social and educational programs. During the spring semester, we can accommodate employers who would like to provide information about their organization in general or information about a particular practice area - and food! - to the Penn Law 1L and LL.M. classes. We can direct you to locations near the law school to host events, or obtain rooms for presentations at the law school. For more information about these programs, please call the office at 215.898.7493 or email all-cpp@law.upenn.edu. Links: 1L Presentations/Receptions: List of caterers and area restaurants (PDF) |
