In the Media: Harry Reicher
- Nearly one-half of the 47 nations meeting in Geneva as part of the United Nations' Human Rights Council are directly or indirectly guilty of "arbitrary or unlawful deprivation of life" according to the U.S. State Department, writes Harry Reicher, who teaches international human rights at Penn Law. "How can the system be taken seriously?" he asks. "What can be expected of other countries if members of the council that is meant to show an example act the way they do?" (3/9/2009).
