Bio
Richard Lonsdorf started teaching at the School of Medicine at Penn in 1952 and joined the Law School faculty seven years later. Lonsdorf taught a wide variety of courses: Law & Psychiatry; Law, Science, Medicine and Tragic Choices; Law, Psychiatry & Medicine; Advanced Family Law; Asylums & Jails; and co-taught Criminal Law, Estate Planning, and Family Law. He has served on numerous mental health boards and on the Board of the American Civil Liberties Union.
