Bio

Robert A.Gorman joined Penn Law in 1965 and moved to Professor Emeritus status in 2000. His principal scholarly and teaching interests are in Copyright and Labor Law, and he has co-authored leading casebooks, numerous books and articles in these fields. He also taught Copyright as a Visiting Professor at a number of law schools including Harvard, New York University, and the University of Southern California. He has been recognized with awards for teaching excellence from both the University of Pennsylvania as well as from Penn Law. He served as Associate Dean of the Law School under three deans, as a member of the American Law Institute, and has been President of the American Association of University Professors, and the Association of American Law Schools.
