Friedrich Kübler is a major force on corporations, banking and mass media.

Friedrich Kübler is a major force on corporations, banking and mass media. He has written or co-authored more than 20 books or other independent publications and has published far more than 100 articles in the fields of contract and property law; corporations, banking and securities regulation; mass media and legal theory; many of them comparing American with European legal structures and developments. His textbook on German corporate law has - so far - seen 5 editions and has recently been translated into Spanish. He is a member of the American Law Institute and has served on the boards of the Deutscher Juristentag (the German institution corresponding to the ALI) and the German Association of Comparative Law. For five years he has been a Commissioner of the German Interstate Commission which has to control media concentration; he continues to serve on the board of the Hessian Public Service Broadcasting Entity. He is a member of the European Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee and of the Frankfurt Academy of Sciences. Kübler continues to teach and to publish in Germany as well as the United States.
