The Regulation Fellowship

The application deadline has passed.

The Penn Program on Regulation (PPR) announces a Regulation Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Designed for scholars interested in pursuing academic careers related to regulation or administrative law, the Regulation Fellow will enjoy faculty access to Penn Law services and full participation in all events of the Penn Program on Regulation. The Fellowship will provide a full year of funding and will be eligible for renewal for an additional year.

Regulation Fellows must have earned a law degree or be pursuing a PhD or equivalent in a related field and should not yet have held a full-time tenure track legal academic appointment. The Regulation Fellows program provides an excellent opportunity for doctoral or postdoctoral research. The Fellow will be expected to produce at least one original academic work during each year of funding, and part of the Fellow's time will include support of the Penn Program on Regulation, including the development of PPR reports and proposals.

To apply, submit the following materials:

  1. Detailed research proposal
  2. Writing sample(s)
  3. Curriculum vitae
  4. Law school and/or graduate school transcript(s)
  5. Two references, minimum (at least one must be an academic reference)

Electronic applications are preferred, and applicants are encouraged to submit the above materials in electronic form to regulation@law.upenn.edu. Alternatively, applicants may submit a paper copy of their application to:

Penn Program on Regulation
