OUTSTANDING LAW FACULTY AND SUPERB LAW PROFESSORS

The Penn Law faculty is made up of a group of law professors that is unparalleled in the depth and breadth of their intellectual interests, the quality and magnitude of their scholarship, and the dedication of each law professor to teaching. This group of scholars, diverse in philosophy, approach, and background, combine to create a sharp and stimulating intellectual environment. A majority of our law professors hold joint degrees and many hold joint appointments on campus, evidencing not only their individual expertise but also the Law School’s interest in a cross-disciplinary approach to modern legal education.

Philadelphia’s central location between New York City and Washington, D.C. enables us to attract top governmental leaders, members of the judiciary, practicing attorneys, and business leaders – all luminaries in their respective fields – as adjuncts and lecturers to supplement our core curriculum and present a variety of special lectures and symposia.

As leading scholars in every major area of legal study, Penn Law faculty are actively engaged in the issues of the day – with print and broadcast media seeking their counsel and expertise.

To interview a Penn Law professor, please contact Steven Barnes in the Penn Law Office of Communications at: 215.573.5181 or sbarnes@law.upenn.edu.
