Pandora and others like it might be in trouble

A recent decision by the Copyright Royalty Board almost tripled the licensing fees for Internet radio sites like Pandora. These royalty rates are reported to be approximately four times higher than the rates for satellite radio. Broadcast radio doesn't even pay royalty fees. Pandora has begun an online petition in response to this decision - here's a link to the petition. The website also has additional details about the controversy.
