Al Dong, Reference/Documents Librarian

Al Dong is a Reference/Documents Librarian at the Biddle Law Library. His faculty research focuses mainly on taxation laws and business. Al is an avid distance runner, and he has completed fifteen marathons, including the 2003 to 2007 Boston Marathons.

This video discusses the history of the "Amen break," widely considered a foundational beat of hip hop and electronica, and how it serves as a metaphor for debates surrounding copyright of music not strictly available in the public domain.
