MEMORANDUM

TO: Drafting Committee Members, Advisors and Observers

RE: RUAA - March 31 Meeting

On Sunday, February 20 at our last session in Houston, the members of the Drafting Committee, Advisors and Observers who were still present decided that at our March 31 meeting we should concentrate primarily on polishing our latest draft of the Uniform Arbitration Act for the final reading in August before the Uniform Law Commissioners. Anyone who has a substantive change to suggest, we decided should submit this change in writing in advance of the meeting. I would ask that you forward any written proposal to me by March 15 so that it can be distributed and considered by all of us prior to the meeting.

The agenda for the next meeting will be (1) finish reading the RUAA from Section 27 to the end; (2) reconsider those sections to which major substantive changes were made at the Houston meeting; and (3) consider other sections for language changes.
