     Enclosed you will find a Revised Tentative Draft No. 1 of the Revised Uniform
Arbitration Act.  This will be the basis of our discussion at the October 31-November 2 meeting
in Houston.  Please discard the prior, initial draft material which was forwarded to you.




     I appreciate all of the comments that I received on the initial draft and have attempted to
incorporate as many of the positive suggestions as possible.  At this point in time, if you have
suggestions or alternative draft language I would ask that you bring them to the meeting for
discussion when we cover a particular matter or provision in the RUAA.
