Collection of Digitized Oral Histories, 1993-2004

This page is under construction.

Introduction

The oral histories in this collection come from three separate oral history collections: The Randall J. Newsome Oral History Collection, the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges' Oral History Project, and oral histories conducted by the Biddle Law Library Archives. The Archives will continue to add digital recordings of oral histories to this page as they become available.

You may notice that some of the oral history interviews referenced below are not available online. Due to copyright restrictions we are only able to post to the Web those oral histories for which the interviewee has transferred his or her rights to the Archives, even if we consider the purpose of the collection to be for non-commercial research use. Obtaining permission to make these oral histories available online for research use is an ongoing effort. If you can help us secure the rights to any of the oral histories not linked to on this page, please contact the Archives.

The Newsome and National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges oral history collections were converted from audio cassette tape to digital format in September-December 2008.

Funding

Funding for this project was provided by the Leon S. Forman Bankruptcy Archives Digitization Project, established in January 2008 with gifts from Blank Rome, LLP and the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation.
