ALUMNI EMAIL

All Penn Law graduates have the option of receiving an Alumni Email Address. Whether you finished your Penn Law career as a computer whiz or before email even existed, your new Penn Law Alumni email address is a great way to stay connected to the Penn Law community. And best of all, it's totally free!

Creating your Penn Law Email Address

Step 1: Get your PennKey, or reset a forgotten PennKey password

• If you graduated from the Law School in 1975 or later: activate your PennKey online using the PennKey-ASAP application. You will be required to successfully complete a brief questionnaire concerning your former academic career at Penn.
• If you graduated prior to May 1975: obtain a PennKey Setup Code and activate it to set your PennKey password. Please follow the instructions on the PennKey Setup page.

Step 2: Specify your destination email address

Once you have your PennKey and know the password, you can access the Penn Law Email Address Settings page. This page requires your PennKey username and password. Once logged in, simply enter in the destination email account for your @alumni.law.upenn.edu address. Enter you@gmail.com, for example, to have all your Law Alumni mail forwarded to that Gmail account. You can return to this page at any time to change your destination, so please don't forget your PennKey username and password! Step 3: Customize your email address (optional)

If you skip this step, your email address will be USERNAME@alumni.law.upenn.edu, where USERNAME is your PennKey username. You can change this, however, at the Full Name Alias page. Follow the instructions to request your personalized address, which must contain at least two names (not initials). Your request will be processed within three days.
