Paul F. Ware Jr. has made a generous gift to establish the
Ware Family Endowed Scholarship which will provide financial
aid to Penn Law students. A partner at Goodwin Procter since
1978, Ware chairs the firm's Litigation Department. He specializes
in litigation, including patent and other complex technologyrelated
litigation, and has represented clients including General
Electric, Boston Scientific, CBS, Inc. and Harvard University.
In March of 2007, Ware was named Special Assistant Attorney
General to conduct the criminal investigation of the Big Dig
tunnel collapse in Boston. He has previously served the state of
Massachusetts as Special Counsel to the Judicial Conduct Commission
from 2001-2003 for the investigation and trial of a sitting
judge.
