MORRIS M. SHUSTER W’51 L’54 received the Pennsylvania Legal Services Excellence Award at a ceremony in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in March. The award recognizes Shuster’s long
support of public interest law and his establishment of the fellowship fund at the Philadelphia Bar Foundation. Shuster has also been a generous contributor to the Law School,
supporting the Public Interest Scholars Program, the Shuster Moot Trial Court Room, and the Colin S. Diver Distinguished Chair in Leadership. Shuster is Of Counsel at
Chimicles & Tikellis LLP, concentrating his practice in consumer class actions against banks and insurance companies. He has served as a full-time faculty member at Penn
Law, and now serves as an adjunct professor. He has also served as president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers’ Association.
