Orin Snyder L’86 is a star,
just like the celebrities he represents. The American Lawyer has
named Snyder, a partner at Parcher, Hayes & Snyder in New York,
one of its “45 under 45”. As a recipient, Snyder is considered one
of “The Rising Stars of the Private Bar.” More than 600 nominees
nationwide vied for the honor.
Snyder counts Julie Andrews, Mariah Carey, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and Bob Dylan among his
clientele. He has also represented the William Morris Agency, Home Box Office (HBO), Sony Pictures
Entertainment, and Turner Broadcasting Corp.
Snyder began his career at New York-based Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. He left the firm in
1989 to become an Assistant U.S. Attorney in New York. Three-and-a-half years later, at age 31, he was
appointed chief of the narcotics division. He was one of the youngest prosecutors to ever hold that
position. In 1994, Snyder joined Parcher & Hayes, a leading entertainment litigation firm, as an associate,
and became a partner in 1996.
