ALAN SHAKIN L’73 received a masters degree in social work from Catholic University in Washington. He went to school at night, completing the degree while working full-time. In July 2004, Shakin retired from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, where he was assistant general counsel in the Enforcement Division. He is now a social worker with the Jewish Social Service Agency in Rockville, Maryland. ![]() On New Years’ Day, KEVIN S. BOYLE L’97 married Elizabeth Pelayo. The ceremony was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The couple reside in Palm City, Florida. DANIEL LEE W’98, L’00 and RANDY LEE C’97, L’01 had a baby girl, Lily Sophia, on February 10. They also have a three-year-old son, Andrew. JANNIE

announce their engagement. They will be married June 3, 2006 at the University
of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaelogy. They met in Professor David Skeel’s
Commercial Credit II class in 2001. Jannie is a corporate associate at
Ropes & Gray; Todd is a corporate associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering
Hall and Dorr. Both firms are in Boston.
