James F. Kurkowski GEN’86, L’90 was promoted to Vice President of Intellectual Property at MIPS Technologies, Inc.. Based in Mountain View, California, the company develops RISC-based microprocessor architectures and cores for digital consumer and business applications. Heidi Beck Boone L’91 was promoted to Of Counsel in the commercial transactions group at Perkins Coie, LLP in Seattle. Lisa Carney Eldridge L’91, a partner at Fox, Rothschild, O’Brien & Frankel, LLP in Philadelphia, was profiled in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” listing (March 29-April 4, 2002) honoring 40 of the region’s most dynamic professionals under 40 years of age. Jean Evans Hunt W’67, L’91 joined of The Pennsylvania Trust Company as vice president located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Aaron R. Krauss L’91, a partner with Cozen O’Connor in Philadelphia, was appointed to the board of directors of Philabundance this Spring. Philabundance is a nonprofit food distribution system.
Ian Thomas Simmons L’91, was named a partner at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP. Simmons currently practices in the firm’s Anti-Trust group in the Washington, DC office. President Bush nominated John P. Suarez L’91 for the position of assistant administrator for enforcement and compliance assurance at the Environmental Protection Agency. Suarez appeared before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee in May. Lynn A. Addington L’92 received her Ph.D. in criminal justice from SUNY Albany in May. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Justice, Law, and Society at American University in Washington, DC. A. Allison (Lisbonne) Amadia L’92 was promoted to General Counsel at Voxeo Corporation, a designer of integrated voice services and call control technology located in Scotts Valley, California. Ronni E. Fuchs L’92, a partner with Dechert, led a panel discussion this past January entitled “Medical Monitoring: A Ubiquitous Threat,” focusing on the relationship between weak medical monitoring claims and high volume litigation. She is a member of Dechert’s mass torts and product liability group.
