ROBERT A. MARCHMAN L’83 has been promoted to executive vice president of Market Surveillance at the New York Stock Exchange. He monitors trading in NYSE-listed companies for compliance with NYSE rules and U.S. securities laws. Marchman chairs the NYSE’s Diversity Council. HARRIET DICHTER L’84, a former director of Children’s Policy for Philadelphia, will lead the state Department of Public Welfare’s new Office of Child Development and co-direct the Office of Policy in the Department of Education. Previously, Dichter served as a consultant to the Department of Education and directed the state’s BUILD program for young children. VICTOR H.
