Between October 22 and 25, 2007, Penn Cinema Studies will be presenting a series of events in conjunction with the visit to campus of Werner Herzog, the German documentarian. Highlights include a screening of "Encounters at the End of the World," Herzog's latest documentary; a conversation with Herzog on "Was the 20th Century a Mistake?"; and an ongoing exhibition at the Slought Foundation, which is located at 4017 Walnut Street, entitled "Ecstatic Truth: Documenting Herzog "Documenting'."
