The Honorable Deborah Poritz, L'77

She was Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court from 1996 to 2006. The first woman to serve in that position, the Poritz Court handed down important decisions on exclusionary zoning, school financing, abortion, gay rights and same-sex marriage.
