Edward Coppee Mitchell

Professor from 1873 to 1886. Dean from 1874 to 1886.

Mitchell taught real estate, conveyancing, and equity jurisprudence. During his tenure Roman Catholics and Jews were admitted without quotas, and the first woman, Carrie Burnham Kilgore, was admitted in 1881.
